Hello World!

Well, here it is, my new blog. For those of you who doubt that the world really needs another blog, you can blame Anna Quindlen. I had been thinking about starting a blog for a few months, but never got around to actually doing it. But earlier this week, my wife and I went to see Ms. Quindlen at a local book store, where she was giving a brief talk and signing books as part of her new book tour. During the questions after her talk, someone asked her what advice shw would give to an aspiring writer, and she replied "Just do it", that just thinking about writing won't result in anything being written, you have to actually write it. Pretty obvious, maybe, but it inspired me to actually start this blog. So, Ms. Quindlen, wherever you are - thanks (I think)!
